Mexico – LLRICE601 found in Mexico

Unpublished Mexican government data showed that samples of US rice imports, collected at the US-Mexican border, were significantly contaminated with LLRICE601 and LLRICE62. 47 of 51 samples collected between August and October 2006 were found to be contaminated. Greenpeace Mexico obtained the records through an official public access to information request (IFAI) to the Mexican authorities.
